"malas" na tao?

Q - Kuya Ed, do you believe in malas? Like malas na tao? Laging minamalas?

A - More than or beyond 'MALAS NA TAO, I have observed that is really more of CHARACTER. Marami sa mga sinasabing "malas, laging nadudukutan" ay kadalasn burara. Hindi maingat sa gamit. Ganun din yung "malas, laging nawawan/nananakawan."   Yung "malas, laging natatanggal sa trabaho", madalas ay tamad, pala-away o kulang sa husay.  Yung "malas sa pag-ibig", kadalasan ay hindi mapili o masyadong bigay na bigay, etc. Yung "malas sa negosyo", madalas ay hindi masyado nag-aaral bago pasukin ang isang negosyo o hindi mapili sa partners.

Kahit yung sinasabing 'GREEN THUMB", "/ "Swerteng mag-halaman", "malamig ang kamay sa halaman". Sa tingin ko, walang green tumb: meron lang mahusay mag-alaga ng halaman.

Ngayon yung "malas na pangyayari", mas maniniwala pa ako. Sinabi yan ni Solomon sa

Q – Are you in favor of movements that attempt to unite all Christians as much as possible? This unity can either be organizational or in terms of cooperation, conference, association, or subscribing to the same media, references or technology? A – Initially, that sounds romantic and desirable. But between an extreme yes and an extreme no, I must answer NO. It could be dangerous when spirituality is unified. Unification could lead to centralization, to standardization, to control and manipulation. What happens to a centralized, unified body when mistakes, manipulation or corruption are committed at the top? The misdeed of a few or even of one could destroy the entire organization. In comparison, small, autonomous or independent religious congregations would be more effective in the survival and agility of the faith more than a big, unified one. Look at guerilla bands that are small and nimble enough to survive annihilation by big, unified, official armed forces. It is their smallness that enable them to make guerilla raids and attacks. Big size could be a setback; a big ship cannot turn quickly. And, in times of systematic persecution, a big ship is difficult to hide or to run. The presence and growth of many small, autonomous/independent congregations is so much more desirable than that of a few or --- God forbid --- only one religious organization. Moreover, when there is assimilation, unification, etc. a small group or people or one single individual gets to control everyone else.

Q - May guy po na super older than i am, pero crush na crush ko at halos super love na nga yata ito. ang nice nice nya sa kin na parang ang super special ko sa kanya. Nung tinanong ko sya bakit sya nice, sabi nya ganun naman sya talaga sa LAHAT. ;-(   Itutuloy ko po ba ang love-love ko sa kanya? Pwede ko ba syang mahalin kahit one-way lang?

A - Eh bakit ka naman magdedeposit sa bank na walang withdrawal? One way lang. Why invest your emotions on someone not interested in you --- and by the looks of it WILLNOTbe interested ever?  Ibaling mo na lang ang attention mo sa iba na mas feasible --- o sa pag-aaral o sa trabaho o sa ministry  o sa personal relationship mo sa Diyos.

    pero kahit hindi ka sa hell mapunta, bakit naman marunong ka pa sa Diyos? Habang buhay ka pa, gusto pa ng Diyos yun.
     Basta wag mong gawin. It's a bad idea. Kung pangit ang kalagayan mo ngayon, lalu lang papanget. 
    Mabuhay ka. Yun ang atupagin mo. Seek God and his righteousness. Enjoy life as a gift from God.

Guilty kasi nagpa-abort

Q - Super guilty po ako dahil sa abortion na ipinagawa sa kin ng bf ko nung high school. Matapos po nya akong buntisin, may ipinainom po pampalaglag. More than 7 years ago na po yon pero hanggang ngayon, nagkakaron ako ng anxiety attacks at depression kasi inuusig ako ng budhi ko. Humingi na po ako ng tawad kay God pero bakit ang bigat-bigat pa rin sa puso ko? may second chance pa po kaya ako?

A - Kung talagang sorry ka at sincere na humingi ng tawad, patatawarin ka ng Diyos. God is God of second chances. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin kaya hindi ka lang naptatawad, nalilinis ka pa na parang walang nangyari.

Ikaw, hindi ang Diyos, ang patuloy na umuusig sa sarili mo at umaalala sa dapat mo nang kalimutan. O kaya si Satan ang umuusig sa yo. Matapos ka nyang itulak para magkasala, ganyan naman ang gagawin nya:uusigin ka. Rebuke him in the name of  Jesus.

Move on. Learn your lesson. Celebrate God's goodness. And void that mistake again.
